Sheila came to us from Rat Bones Rescue about 3 1/2 years ago. When we found Lola we had no idea what a Rat Terrier was, Janet was in love with the breed.

We found a group on the internet that was having a BBQ and invited us over. We met Suzanne and Karen from Rat Bones Rescue there. After speaking with them we decided to find a playmate for Lola (to give us a break.) Suzanne called us one day and told us she the perfect match for us. One look was it for us. Like many rescue dogs she did gave a rough time of it. She had a 5 inch wound on her back that seemed like she was hit by a car. She came from a high kill shelter in Texas.

Some how she made it to her foster mom Suzanne then to us. It took months of working with her to gain her trust. She is a special family member in our house hold and travels everywhere with us.

She has created fans wherever we go, it's always "I want one just like her" When we have events with Rat Bones Sheila is ready to work. She is one of the best Ambassador for rescue you will ever see. She is especially good with children and seniors, she just has that special personality that everyone trusts. Her fan base grows all the time. We can never thank the wonderful folks with Rat Bones Rescue for her.
